But haven't you already tried that, it doesn't work, right? Wrong! In this article, we are going to go over all you need to know about how this works. So, let's just get right into it.



Importance of a defined face:

If you have an attractive face, you are already in the top 10% of males who have the ability to attract anyone. But how do we get an attractive face?

Well, there are a lot of ways you can do that, but the most prominent and the most important method we are going to discuss is losing body fat or lowering your body fat percentage which might be one of the most efficient out of them all.

Do you notice anything different between the before and after pictures? It's just pictures of people after losing a few pounds of fat, do you see how greatly it has influenced my facial appearance and has given definition to the structure of my face. No matter in which corner of the world you will always find that people always look better when they are at a lower body fat percentage. And trust me, if a person looks good even with a higher body fat percentage can easily become extremely attractive if he loses fat. Why does this happen? Well, your facial appearance depends on the factors: Angularity and depth. What do I mean by depth? It means how well-defined the face of a face you have, how forward your chin looks, and how well-developed your cheekbones look. All these factors combine to contribute to your facial attractiveness. If your face looks sharp, forward-grown, and less chubby, then it makes your face look young and what happens when you look young, you look better and charming.

How to get rid of facial fat:

Spot reduction, the biggest myth:



Now, you know that you have to lose facial fat if you are serious about improving your looks. But the question arises "How do we remove face fat?". There are a lot of speculations all over the internet about this topic but most of them are methods which you can implement only on a temporary basis, you need to permanently look good and the best way to do that is by going on a calorie deficit. Yes, this is the only science-based lifelong method by which you can lose fat.

There's no way you can reduce fat from a specific region, you have to lose body fat overall and lower your body fat percentage. "Spot reduction" is not a real working thing. Don't you think the whole idea of "losing fat from a certain region" is a bit laughable. There is not a single workout plan or any diet in this reality that can allow you to lose body fat from a specific region. You can only lower your overall body fat percentage. There are a lot of "Internet gurus" who claim that they can help you lose fat from a specific region, and it's a total mischief. Always keep in mind that you can't "spot reduce" fat and be aware of this.

Genetics:

Now, there are a couple of factors such as genetics which can determine where you store the most amount of fat. Although we generally store body fat throughout our whole body, genetics can influence this by causing uneven distribution of body fat. And that is why you see many people around you who are overweight, but still, their face looks lean. It is all genetics. Now, there might be people who tend to store the most amount of fat on their face. Is there a solution to this? Well, unfortunately, no because you can't manipulate your genetic factors. But still, there is a way and that is calorie deficit because although you store a lot of fat around your face, if you lose fat, you will lose it from your body overall so you can still get rid of facial fat. 

So, don't complicate things too much that you store more facial fat, etc. Let's see an example: We both go on a 3 months fat loss program and in the first week I notice a better chin; on the other hand, you notice abs. But by the time the 3 months program ends, we will both end up having the same facial depth and muscle definition. So, stop overthinking and just go on a fat loss journey, you will definitely see impressive results. 

Calorie deficit:


 Now, let's talk about Calorie deficit and everything you need to know about it. There are a lot of ways to understand calorie deficit, but we will not go too scientific here. Let's understand this with a simple example: A refrigerator has the capacity to store a certain amount of food, what happens if we fill it completely and don't have space for extra food, but we still need to store some? We store it in the freezer/another compartment. But humans don't have an extra compartment or anything, so we store it in the form of fat. And when the refrigerator runs out of food we stored before, we would use the food that is stored in the freezer. In the same manner, if we run out of food and have to work, we would use the extra fat that we have stored.

This is what I mean by a calorie deficit, go count your maintenance calories and subtract 300-400 calories from it, and consume this amount of calories. And when you do this, your body will start to use the extra fat that it has stored. Then you will start to lose body fat, and look better.

Conclusion:

Now, let me tell you a harsh truth. You might be one of the best-looking males but the only thing that is stopping you from looking better is the amount of body fat that you have. There are different beauty standards but studies show that females like a more defined face, rather than a chubby one. Different people like different types of males, some may like Robert Pattinson, others may like The Rock, and some may like Korean Popstars BTS, etc. But the only pattern that can be seen common in all of these males is that they all have lean faces.

So, good luck with your fat loss journey, and looking better. Just keep all these points in mind.
